They will help you untangle and unlearn negative and repetitive thought patterns, recognise your triggers and understand why they arise. They will guide you to feel into your heart-space and your deeper knowing and challenge you to step out of your comfort zone. You will tap into a greater sense of peace, fulfilment and alignment with your true nature, desires and purpose.

anahata’s physical practices will allow you to sink into the listening field of your body, to quieten your mind and open yourself to the wisdom of your body and what it is trying to tell you. The practices will help you strengthen your body, build resilience and flexibility in body and mind, helping you understand what you can do to make your body healthier, connecting you to your ability to fully live, sense and express yourself through your body.

About Anna

In 2019, I experienced what can be described as a quantum shift - there was a me before and a me after. Similar to the transition of having children everything changed – who I was, how I was, how I loved and I what needed to do. From the outside and for those closest to me there were times it manifested as a breakdown - internally I knew it was a sudden triggered awakening – I had to start listening.

I had left my job as the director of a charity supporting rural development programmes in India and gone on a yoga and meditation retreat – not by any means the first but then and there the universe threw me upside down, held me by the feet and shook me from and to the core. What was meant to be a short sabbatical became a couple of years, compounded by lockdown.

It became the first time in my life I stopped for any length of time – I put being before doing, and began a process of inner work and excavation. It was a time of quiet solitude and deep unrest yet also of immense realisation of both myself and the possibility of the human spirit. I began to shed layers of conditioning, slowly and painfully letting go of my doing – my work and my service of others - defining me. I found a deeper reality and connection beneath my ego of who or what I am and beyond my life roles as founder, director, social entrepreneur, housekeeper, project manager, devoted and caring daughter, incredibly busy mother of twins.

I did what I needed to do to honour my body and what was happening – I had no choice – I yearned deep rest, a healthier body, immersion in nature, daily physical movement to ground me and sitting andmeditation. I read widely about mortality - and immortality, self-development, spirituality, yoga. I brought in daily routines and practices and sought out teachers, courses and well-being tools to help me navigate unchartered waters.

Training as a coach became something I was very drawn to as I came out from the intense inner work I was doing and began to balance it with looking outwards again and serving others. anâhata coaching is the result of this.

Through coaching I create and hold space for others for self-exploration, connection with self, others and nature and to discover presence and deep purpose in the world. I share the practices, tools and awareness that have not only helped me so greatly in daily life but continue to lead me to deeper abundance, joy, gratitude and alignment.
